Muvly AI

Chatbot or quote form: your form gives you a phone number, the customer wanted a price

Almost every moving company website has the same form: name, phone, origin, destination and “tell us about your move”. The customer fills it in on three websites at once and goes with the first one that replies with a figure.

What data you need to quote a move

If you are about to build or review your form, this is the minimum to give a price without calling the customer:

  1. Contact: name, email and phone.
  2. Full origin and destination, to calculate the real distance.
  3. Date or date range.
  4. Inventory by room: which furniture, how many, and how many boxes.
  5. Access at origin and destination: floor and elevator.
  6. Packing: whether the customer or your team does it.
  7. For international: countries, and ports or airports depending on the mode.

A form can ask for all seven points, but almost nobody fills them in properly in a single submission. The inventory is what fails most: the customer writes “a three-bedroom flat” and you have to work out the cubic volume yourself.

What happens with a form

  1. The customer writes four details and waits.
  2. Someone in your office calls them, if anyone is in, to ask what the form did not: which furniture, which floor, whether there is an elevator, whether packing is needed.
  3. The quote is prepared by hand and sent.
  4. By then, the customer has already spoken to two other companies or asked for a price on a portal.

What happens with Muvly

  1. The customer leaves name, email and phone when opening the assistant: if they drop out, the contact is already yours.
  2. The AI asks what your office would ask: route, date, inventory by room (with photos if they want), access and packing.
  3. Your rate card calculates the quote in the same conversation and the customer sees the amount and range.
  4. You receive a lead that is yours alone and already quoted: details, inventory, conversation, photos and price.

What the assistant does not do (and you should know)

  • The AI does not set the price: your rate card calculates it. The AI never sees or invents figures, and there is no price until the inventory is confirmed.
  • It does not measure volume from a photo: it identifies and counts the furniture; the cubic volume comes from your catalogue.
  • It does not replace your office for moves with a piano, artworks or other special items: the lead reaches you with the information to decide whether a technical visit is needed.
  • If the service is not in your rate card, the lead arrives without an amount and you quote it yourself.

And if the AI balance runs out

The widget switches to a contact form without a price: you never stop capturing leads.
